A man revealed his hilarious plan to get back at his ex-partner after discovering they were cheating on him with one of his close friends and work colleague.
In the video, the man writes in to the Have a Word podcast asking the hosts if his plan is taking things too far.
He said: “My partner of four years left me last year for a close friend, a colleague of mine, rat.
“I’ve left it all that time, thinking ah karma will get them, yet nothing bad has happened yet.
“Would it be childish of me to make a fake competition on Facebook under our local zoos name saying we have a £10,000 prize if you answer this question: Which of these animals doesn’t have legs? Giraffe, lion, snake and then put one of their numbers for the place to text the answer, in the hope that they get thousands of people sending them snake.
“Just let me know if I’m being petty, and you need to have a word with me or them.”
The video has since been viewed over 500,000 times as people laughed at the genius idea.
One user said: “The trouble is karma is wonderful but u rarely get to witness it… this covers it!!”
Others joked about using the plan on some people in their lives who have treated them unfairly.
They said: “That’s genius. I know a few ex’s and an ex boss or two that are getting that little nugget if joy for Christmas this year.”
Responding to whether or not the prank was childish, one user said:
