Copper Face Jacks has confirmed their new opening hours and rules, confirming that a crucial Covid-19 law change will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
The Harcourt Street venue saw hundreds of people queuing up over the Bank Holiday weekend as nightclubs returned for the first time since the start of 2020.
Organised indoor events and mass gatherings in venues such as nightclubs are now permitted, provided all patrons have been fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid in the past six months.
Many partygoers who were eager to get back to one of Ireland’s most popular nightclubs, Coppers, finally had the opportunity to do so on Friday.
And in a new social media post, the venue have confirmed they will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
On top of that, the security will be turning away anyone without a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate AND a matching ID.
They said: “New Opening Hours
“We are closed every Monday and Tuesday night until further notice!
“See you all on Wednesday
“Doors open 9pm.
“You will not be permitted entry without a valid Covid-19 Vaccination certificate and matching ID.”
Footage posted on social media showed queues extending far beyond the entryway to Coppers as people patiently waited to be allowed in.
